Salt & Crab Seafood Dining in Clark, Pampanga: Worth it or Overpriced?
We've been seeing Salt & Crab Seafood Dining for months now, and since trying out new restaurants is one of our favorite hobbies, we decided to celebrate this year's Valentines Day there. Unexpectedly, this turned out to be one of the most shocking restaurant experiences we ever had.
The ambiance of this casual seafood dining restaurant is perfect for anyone celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or a mini-reunion. The place is spacious and bright. Most of the customers we saw there belong to what they call "Class A" and "Class B", and some foreigners.

We ordered a Seafood Chowder for my picky-eater son, Tempura, Thermidor, a whole crab cooked in salted egg, and a platter of salted egg rice for my rice-lover husband. It took almost 15 minutes for our orders to arrive. They apologized, so I guess the 15-minute waiting time isn't really their thing.

The food is okay. No "wow" factor. This is why when our bill came, we were surprised with the total price of what we had just eaten. It was P4,020! Good thing they're accepting credit cards. Up to this day, my husband and I are still laughing at the fact that we had paid that much for a single dining experience. Believe it or not, we're still practically frugal. If it's a fine-dining restaurant and the food is outstanding, then the price could be reasonable.

Verdict
We're still open to coming back to this place someday, but only if it would be a treat by a generous friend or a relative. I'm highlighting the "generous" part. Lol.
